School Enrichment

School Enrichment is a federally funded, competitive, grant program designed to support the establishment of community learning centers serving students in high-need school buildings. Funding is provided by the federal government through the “No Child Left Behind Act,” “Every Student Succeeds Act,” and is administered by the Bureau of Indian Education.

These grants are awarded to projects that offer a broad array of services, programs, and activities during non-school hours or periods when school is not in session (such as after school or during summer recess). The three goals for this grant program are:

improve student learning performance in one or more core academic areas.
increase social benefits and positive behavioral changes.
increase family/community engagement to support student education.
