Mrs. Joann Lupe

Dagot’ee/Ya’at’eeh, my name is Jo Ann Benally Lupe. I’m Tiis Kaadn’ (Cottonwood Standing People), born for Kinyaa’aanii (Towering House People). I’m a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Northern Arizona University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education, with an approved subject area in Middle Grades Language Arts 6-8. I’m a former Miss Indian Arizona and Miss White Mountain Apache. Most importantly, I’m a married mother of four and grandmother of 4 beautiful grandchildren.
